If you've tried diet after diet without lasting results, it isn't because you lack willpower. Almost always, what's missing is information: knowing which foods work with your metabolism and which ones slow it down. And that, like learning to drive, can be learned.

At NaturalSlim® we sort foods into two simple groups: Type A and Type E. Type A foods are the ones that help you slim down and are friends of your metabolism. Type E foods are the ones that put weight on more easily. In this article we focus on Type A: what they are, why they matter, and in what proportion to use them.

What Type A foods are

Think of your body as an engine and food as the fuel. Some fuel the engine burns easily; other fuel leaves it clogged. Type A foods belong to the first group: the body uses them well and they don't push it to store fat as easily.

They're real, varied foods: proteins, vegetables, good fats, nuts, some dairy and a few fruits. It isn't a list of things you can't have — it's a list of options.

The 3x1® Diet: the proportion that makes the difference

The 3x1® Diet isn't a diet of bans — it's a lifestyle. There are no forbidden foods; what changes is the proportion on your plate:

  • ¾ of the plate: Type A foods (the ones that help you slim down).
  • ¼ of the plate: Type E foods (the ones that put weight on more easily).

In short: giving more room to Type A foods is one of the simplest, most powerful steps to start slimming down without going hungry, and without the extreme diets that end up backfiring.

The Type A food list

Here's a broad guide so you can see just how much you can eat. It isn't a closed list — it's a starting point to combine and cook to your taste.

Poultry and eggs

  • Chicken, turkey, quail
  • Egg

Meats

  • Beef: steak, fillet, sirloin, liver, minced beef
  • Pork: chop, leg, suckling pig, chorizo, bacon, minced pork

Fish and seafood

  • Fish: salmon, tuna, cod, hake, sea bream, grouper, tilapia, turbot
  • Seafood: prawns, crab, octopus, squid, mussels, clams, oysters

Cheese and dairy

  • Cheese: manchego, brie, gouda, cheddar, swiss, provolone, parmesan, mozzarella, feta, white cheese, ricotta
  • Dairy: Greek yoghurt, cream, coconut milk, almond milk

Good fats

  • Olive, avocado, coconut, flaxseed, sesame and almond oil
  • Butter, avocado, olives

Nuts and seeds

  • Almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, macadamias
  • Pumpkin and sunflower seeds

Vegetables

  • Broccoli, spinach, kale, cabbage, lettuce, Brussels sprouts, asparagus
  • Aubergine, peppers, courgette, carrot, celery, mushrooms, green beans

Type A fruits

  • Green apple, strawberries

Seasonings

  • Salt, pepper, garlic, mustard, apple cider vinegar
  • Herbs: basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, bay leaf, sage, coriander, mint, paprika

Plenty of options

With a list this broad, it's easier to see why the 3x1® Diet isn't about going hungry. It's about choosing well and eating with sense, not banning everything. The idea is to combine these foods, use them often, and cook recipes you enjoy while you keep slimming down.

Get to know your metabolism type

Not all bodies are the same. There's an excited metabolism and a passive one, and knowing yours helps you choose, among the Type A foods, the ones that suit you best. That's exactly one of the things a consultant helps you discover.

At NaturalSlim Europe you have a team of Certified Metabolism Consultants™ at your service. There's nothing to buy to get started: the first step is simply talking to someone who understands your metabolism, and getting to know the NaturalSlim® System better.
